village is situated below the highest peak on the island, Sveti Nikola
(St. Nicholas) located in the southern rocky area of Hvar. By a small
motor boat it takes about an hour to get there from Hvar town. It

Hvar. Sveta Nedjelja is the area of vineyards from which the best
wines of Hvar are produced, especially "Plavac". On the
way to the sea you can go by hairpin-bend through the pine woods.
Unspoilt nature and clear sea create a special atmosphere. This is
ideal destination for those who want to get away from the flurry of
the city and truly relax. Sveta Nedjelja is a charming little village
on the southern side of the sunniest island in the Adriatic Sea. It
is the island of sunshine, wine, olives, honey, and lavender. |
